I need some advice on “Adult Child Support” for my daughter after she turns 18 in March 2013. I spoke with Child Support Agency a few days ago and I asked if Child Support is paid after the age of 18, where the adult is continuing to study. They advised me that it is only paid if it’s through Secondary school, however, if she is continuing study via TAFE or Uni, then I could apply to the court to have her Child Support continue, while she is studying full time.
I would like to do this and Child Support Agency advised me to contact a legal authority for advice on how to go about this.
