As you can see from the photos above we’ve found another stunning Hooded Crochet Jacket for you and it’s also a Free Pattern. This jacket or cardigan uses two Hexagonal Grannies to make the jacket body and the sleeves. Again, this is an easy pattern so you don’t need to be an expert to crochet it.
You can make it in all sizes from child to adult – the finished size is determined by the size of your hexagons, as well as your hook size. If you use a smaller hook and a lightweight yarn, such as mercerized cotton, you’ll need more rounds to achieve the size you’re aiming for but it will result in a lighter, more delicate look and feel to the cardigan.
A heavier yarn and a size H or I hook will give you a bulkier and warmer jacket. The pattern creator also suggests that you can use some of your leftover yarn scraps.
