It’s written in US Crochet terms and uses 3 basic stitches. HDC (half double Crochet), Half Double Crochet Back Loop and Half Double Crochet Front Loop. The Back and Front Loop stitches are used in alternating front and back loops. As you can see the Half Double Crochet Stitch allows enough stretch for the top to really mould to the shape of the figure.
The pattern includes a tip for using balls of yarn from multiple lots – as there can be a slight colour variation due to the “fuzz” which gives the yarn its colour. You can even out the colour differences by running a razor or a lint buzzer over the Wrap.
