The Soul of August

We can all start to breath a little easier this month.  We have passed the shortest day of the year and we are now moving towards longer and brighter days which is perfect for the emotional forecast of August 2012.

The number for August 2012 are 8 + 2 + 1 + 2 = 13/4.  Bottle 4 is the sunlight bottle yellow over gold.  The energy of 4 is aligned with our own radiant centre, the solar plexus, it is from this energy centre that we radiate our joy and spiritual power.  This is the centre were we process and utilize knowledge and food.

When all is well for us in this centre we literally feel like the sun has come out and all is right with the world.

This is the month to bring together all of the emotional ruminating from the previousl months and reformulate all of the information gained in emotional, mental and spiritual wisdom.

This is the month for going for gold just as our Olympians are doing in the UK.  The downside of bottle 4, and there is always a downside is Fear, Fear, Fear.

In this case it is usually not the big things that we are afraid of but the small things.  We can get caught up in self-criticism and fault finding without taking into account the big picture.   This is likely to be a month were you have the opportunity to stand in your own position of power or you may align yourself with someone who is in a position of power.  Particularly, if, you can move past the fear of someone blocking your sun with judgement and criticism.

Taking it back one step, 4 was arrived at from a total of 13 so lets look at the undercurrent energies of Bottle 13 that support the 4.  Bottle 13 is clear over green, this bottle speaks to your heart.  The clear in the top fraction is a powerful white light flowing into your heart space.

As I mentioned above, 4 is symbolic of processing the past hurts, past understanding and arriving at a new place so that you can feel the radiant sun once more.  Bottle 13 adds the energy of true transformation, not just changing things a little.  No running repairs and stop gaps so that you can keep going doing the same old thing.

August may well present you with the opportunity for complete change.  For example, someone who has always been very materially focused may become more spiritually minded and visa versa for that matter.  This kind of change is what is often called a “change of Heart”.  So this month, be open for change at a very profound level.  Start reaping the rewards of the preceding hard months of conflict and introspection.

Finally let’s look at the number of August, Bottle 8, yellow over blue.  Bottle 8 is an interesting Bottle, it is called Anubis.  Anubis was an Egyptian Deity who was responsible for protection of those who had passed over into the other world. Anubis was also the Deity who measured your heart to discern the value of your life and the weight of your heart.

When you take all the influences of this month into account, it is clear that August is going to be a month of getting to the heart of the problem, discerning what is really going on, seeing the truth of one’s own heart and the heart of others.  Perhaps rather than all of the nastiness we have seen in the last few months, it can now be replaced with true inner reflection and hopefully a change of heart for many.

I am sure that August is going to be the quickening of profound change both personally and socially.  Perhaps rather than just going for gold from your armchair as you watch the Olympics, look deep inside and find what it is that you need to do to turn your life into gold as well.
