Mason Jars or ordinary pickle style jars will work for this project
- Rubbing Alcohol
- Acrylic Paint
- Sand Paper 100-120 grit
- Emery Board
- Clear Acrylic Sealer

How To Make Shabby Chic Mason Jars
You will begin by wiping your Mason Jars over with Rubbing Alcohol. This creates a layer for your Paint to adhere to.
Next, you will paint your Mason Jars with your favorite colored Acrylic Paint. You should do at least 2 coats. You should then leave them to dry thoroughly overnight so the paint cures.
Now comes the fun part, use your Sandpaper and gently rub around your jar to create the desired effect.
Don’t go too hard initially, use the photos to help you create the exact look you want. Use your emery board on the wording on the Mason Jars and shine it up!
