This would be awesome at a party. Guests could decorate them up themselves. The possibilities are endless! The best part about this project is that they are not complicated at all. You are only going to need a few simple items and you can get started. The first thing you will need is some Lace in your favorite color.
There is so many versions available now. You could even use an old Doily or Table Runner, anything that has the desired pattern. You will also need some tacky glue and a Fabric Stiffener.
How to Make a Microwave Lace Crown -:
- 1/2 yard crocheted lace
- Fabric Stiffener
- Small bowl
- Tacky Glue
- 1 sheet posterboard
- clear packing tape
- paper plate or parchment paper
- thin butter knife or offset spatula
- sewing pin
- Gold or silver metallic paint
- Rubber gloves
- Paint brush
- Hot glue gun or a jewelry adhesive
- Vintage jewelry, rhinestones, jeweled scrapbook trim, etc…
