There are two ways to get your plants started. You can propagate the cuttings in water or soil. We have included a video tutorial in our post that shows you both of these methods. You can try them both out and monitor the results.
Start by taking your cutting from an existing plant below the leaf node (which is where the leaf grows out of the main stem).
Be sure to use a clean pair of scissors – rubbing alcohol will work well for this. Next, you will need to remove all the leaves so that the new roots can grow effectively.
Pop the cuttings in a jar of warm water. It is recommended that you keep the jar in a slightly shaded area for around a week. Your cutting will be ready to plant out when the roots are about 3 inches long.
