How To Make Braided Pizza Calzone Recipe
We have included a quick video tutorial that shows you how to make this Braided Pizza Calzone Recipe. Click Play above ^
- 1 puff pastry or pizza dough
- 4 slices of mozzarella cheese
- 12 pepperoni slices
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon parsley, chopped
- 1 tablespoon parmesan cheese
As per the video simply lay your dough out flat, layer it with your cheese, pepperoni and anything else you would like to include. Cut lines either side of the filling about 1″ apart. Cut excess corners off. Now from the top start bringing the dough flaps over in a criss cross style. Once finished, fold the bottom flap up so your Calzone filling is secure. Pop it on some parchment paper on a baking tray and brush with butter.
Bake in your pre-heated oven (425 degrees/220c) for 20-25 minutes or until nice and golden brown. Enjoy!
