These Cherry Tomato Tulips are so easy to recreate and they look and taste great! You will love popping them on your table.
They would look fabulous on any table or platter and make a beautiful centrepiece that’s also edible. They’re stuffed with Cream Cheese, grated Cucumber and Basil but you can vary by adding your own favourite herb and finely chopped spring onion also goes well.
They’re easy to make and you can scoop out the middles and fill with a cream cheese that is laced with shallots and herbs.
You can use any filling that you like and decorate them with corn kernels or whatever takes your fancy. Anything goes!
To make your very own Tomato Stuffed Tulips you will need to start by cutting a cross in the top of each Cherry Tomato – cut down about 3/4 of the tomato so that you can open it up to look like a Tulip. Scrape out any seeds carefully then put a skewer through the base so you can add a stem. The flower stem is made by inserting a Chive.
