Missing person Janet Prider found safe

Police are relieved to announce that missing person Janet Prider has been found safe this morning.

Police were alerted to Mrs Prider’s whereabouts just after 7.30 this morning where she was found wondering along the River Torrens at Linear Park, Campbelltown.

She has been taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital for treatment.

Police would like to thank members of the public for their assistance in the matter.

Missing woman – Janet McDougall Prider

Police are seeking public assistance to help locate missing 69-year-old woman, Janet McDougall Prider.

Mrs Prider left her North Brighton home sometime between 5.30am and 10.30am on Tuesday 24 April 2012. have you seen this woman?

She has not made contact with family or friends since this time which is out of character and has recently complained of suffering memory loss.

It is believed Mrs Prider does not have any personal items with her and has no means of personal transport.

It is unknown what clothing Mrs Prider was wearing the day she went missing however she does wear prescription glasses that have a light red tinted lens.

Police ask anyone who may have seen Mrs Prider or has heard from her, to contact the Police Assistance Line on 131 444 or BankSA Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
