Police have seized a number of firearms and other weapons as well as made two arrests after searching a house at Munno Para West.
Following a call to BankSA Crime Stoppers with information about the possible manufacturing of firearms police from Elizabeth CIB Tactical unit searched a house at Munno Para West and located: a hydroponic cannabis crop; three rifles; three shotguns; a firearm under manufacture; and associated ammunition plus a cross bow and butterfly knives.
A 25-year-old man at the house was arrested and charged with cultivating cannabis and unsecure ammunition.
He was bailed to appear in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court on 3 July.
Police arrested a second occupant of the house, a 21-year-old man, and charged him with numerous drug and firearms offences, including manufacturing firearms, unsecure firearms and ammunition, possessing a prescribed firearm and a prohibited weapon and cultivating cannabis for sale.
He was bailed to appear in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court on 4 July.
